The American Flag has a long history that mirrors the Constitution, symbolizing of our nation's strength and unity.  The American flag has been with soldiers in battles of the Revolutionary War, Civil War, both World Wars, the Korean War, the Persian Gulf War and now in Iraq and Afghanistan.

To recognize those of special merit, Congressman Kirk will donate a 3x5 nylon flag for the list below.  Special note, due to House ethics rules the Congressman cannot donate a flag to be used for the purpose of fundraising.
