U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk and police on Monday warned about a highly potent form of marijuana they say is showing up more in the suburbs.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — A group of congressional Republicans offered what they call a "centrist, practical" plan to overhaul the U.S. health care system Tuesday, one they say would be the cheapest of any option proposed so far.

Illinois U.S. Congressman Mark Kirk says there's a new strain of highly potent marijuana hitting Chicago's suburbs and he wants to crack down on dealers.

The slang name for the special strain of marijuana is kush. It's grown specifically to be more potent than regular marijuana.
